Who we are

Full Circle is Brussels’ premier forum for ideas exchange, intelligent discussion and high-level debate.

Over the last 3 years, we have created a community of creative, open-minded and forward thinking members, from around Brussels and elsewhere, of all ages, with diverse interests and backgrounds.

What we do

Download the Ideas Programme Season 2019-2020

We create unique content and facilitate encounters between those with the ideas and those with the power to act on them. We bring some of the world’s brightest minds to Brussels, to introduce them to our community, relevant decision makers and a wider public, though a variety of events:

Events Programme

We create Dinner debates, evening salons, lunchtime talks and young persons receptions, throughout the year, under the LIVE | WORK | THINK heading.

Anyone can attend ones of these events before becoming a member.

Members’ events

The Members’ lunches and dinners provide the opportunity for our members to get to know each other and share their ideas and projects. (Members only)

Public debate

Through a (new) series of large public debates we’ll bring some of the most engaging international figures to discuss the major questions of our time.

Professional exchanges

We set up individual and group meetings to enable our visiting speakers to engage with relevant policy and decision makers.

Tailored & commissioned events

We put together workshops, briefings, masterclasses and lunch talks for relevant professional groups, companies and organisations.

Media programme

To maximise the coverage of our speakers and their ideas within the Belgian and international press, we set up press meetings and interviews.

Teen Talks

The TeenTalks series provides a space for younger minds to engage with some of the most pertinent subjects and inspiring thinkers.

Our story

Founded in 2013, Full Circle is a natural product of the Brussels dynamic. Clever, cosmopolitan and unassuming, Brussels is far more than just the powerhouse of European institutions. It is full of cultivated, educated and enlightened individuals from around the world, working in all sectors. Full Circle brings them together to spark discussions and enable change.

Behind Full Circle are Bridie and Louise. Both English but living in Brussels for over 20 years, they have worked in many different public, private and non-profit sector roles. They wanted to breathe some fresh thinking into the Brussels scene.

Full Circle draws together the most exciting elements the city has to offer with the best of the global community of ideas.

What’s next

Deepening our relationship with decision makers

In this 2018-19 Season, we are working harder than ever to ensure our great speakers permeate the relevant decision making circles, to engage, bring different perspectives and have a real impact on the end results.

Widening the scope of audiences

We are planning a series of high profile public debates: open, intelligent and entertaining.
The disconnect and distrust between political decision makers and publics has led to a void of thoughtful engagement on issues that matter. Our debates will help with facilitate the conversation.

Getting a home of our own

In late 2019 our state of the art club house will be open for business providing spaces, activities and nourishment to LIVE, WORK, and THINK.

Practical info

Who

Anyone can come to our events at least once to try things out.
For Public Debates, LunchTalks and TeenTalks there is no membership requirement.
For the main evening programme, unless you are the guest of an existing member, membership is required after the first event you come to.

Where

Most of our activities now take place in our unique space near Place Flagey, at Chaussée de Vleurgat 89. Other activities take place in different venues around Central Brussels / Ixelles (Flagey area) / EU quarter.

When

Our activities are daytime and evening.

Lunchtalks: 12.30-2pm
Salons: 6.30-8.30/9pm
Young professionals receptions: 6.30-8.30pm
Dinner debates: 7.30-10.30pm
TeenTalks: 3-4.30pm / 4.30-6pm Wednesdays, 5-6.30pm other days.

Prices

Tickets to our events range from 0-100€ depending on the event. Food and drink are often included in the ticket price.
We always make an effort to provide reduced entry for genuinely worthy causes.

Since we operate on a membership basis, non-members tickets are generally more expensive.
Concessions are available.
